Meet Tom Pals

The Founder of Autonomic Homeostasis Activation

Tom is a Board Certified Counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado in the US.

With decades of experience as a psychotherapist Tom has dedicated his career to transforming the well-being of those suffering from the impact of stress and trauma by activating homeostasis with Autonomic Healing Activation through personalized InnerWork in body, mind and spirit.

He has earned Master’s Degrees in Clinical Counseling (1999) as well as Divinity (1981).

Tom is a voracious reader, spiritual adventurer and outdoor enthusiast. In addition to climbing nearly 20 of Colorado's 53 14,000' ("fourteener") peaks (some several times), he enjoys hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains.

Tom also has a passion for travel, describing himself as a history and culture tourist exploring museums and castles throughout Europe, Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley in Peru, scuba diving in the Sea of Cortez and the Gulf of Thailand, and visiting his paternal grandparents' ancestral home on the Island of Terschelling in the Netherlands.
